Miss Elizabeth Kathryn Emire of this place and Oliver Astell of near West Lebanon, were quietly united in marriage Sunday afternoon at the M. E. parsonage, Rev. John E. McCloud performing the ceremony that joined them for life. The bride is one of Williamsport’s most popular young ladies and is the only daughter of Logan D. Et ire, County Recorder, and wife. She has been the able assistant of her father,since he entered the of fice, and will be greatly missed by her many friends around the court house as well as in the town's social circles. The groom is the son of George Astell, residing on the old Fremont Goodwine farm west of West Leba non, and is a promising young far mer. He had also nearly completed a course in architecture at Chicago. They will make their home with the groom’s father until after corn har vest. The best wishes of their many friends accompany them on their matrimonial voyage.
