Kby nils company.The entire city was put In mourning this week by the unexepected death of ex-State Senator B. F. Bailey in New fork CRy, while there attending to some legal business. He had gone to New York with Attorney Hugh Warder Monday night in the Interests or the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company against the C. A. Sims intereato. | He was in his usual good health when he left the city, but dropped to the pavement Tuesday arternoon about 4‘-o’clock while walking from Wall street with, Mr. Warder and expired before medical attention could be secured. The body was brought to Grafton and Interment was made from the residence on McGraw avenue on Friday afternoon, with theis * Rev. W. H. Davis, of Bridgeport, andthe Rev. Leland Jerome Powell of this city, officiating. The Elks. Knights of Pythias and Modern Woodmen, with whom he was affiliated, took part in the funeral.Senator Bailey was a graduate of Adrian College and the West Virginia University and practiced lawhere for many years. He was * prominent attorney, representing the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company and other corporations, and wbb also prominent ih politics.
