Plenty of rain.Farmers in this vicinity are plowing.John Thompson has sold ills farm to Mr. Severson, lately from South Dakota.John Cousins and son Robert were doing business in the county seat last week.Mr. A. N. Glasscock, of Port Townsend, is visiting relatives and friends on the island.Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Middleton, of low, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Middleton’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. L. Davis. . •Thos. Graham is making some quite extensive improvements In the way of clearing. He has cleared about eighteen acres this winter.Louis J. Bolton and John Wilson have bought Nels Jordal’s farm and Nels has bought eighty acres from G. M. Johnson, on the uortli end.Lopez Camp No. 5S57, Modern Woodmen of America, will give their annual ball on or auut the holidays, Morewill be said in the Islander later on.•Quite a number of new bouses are going up ou the island this winter, as well as the Woodmen hall, which Is well under way and will be ready for occupancy by Christmas.Rover.
