—Col, L. N. McGranalian died at bis residence in Sugar Grove on Monday, of typboid fever. The wholefamijy of the deceased-six in number—were at one time dovrn with this dread disease,death taking away a daogh-tcr only a short time before, while the wife, at last accounts, was lying in a critical condition. Col. MoGranahan was in his 57th year at the time of his death, having acquired his title of Colonel in the old militia days. He also represented Mercer county in the Legislature during the session of IS52-53.
