f£T* We notice that our friend Leo Hymel formerly of this place (second best candiilate for assessor in the last campaigs) having become disgusted with politics, has I retired to private life and is now carrying on the grocery business in the village of Thibodaux. From our knowledge of Mr. ByrneFe business qualification, we venture the assertion that he will reap a richer harvest in his new vocation, than be would hived done, had he been successful in bis political aspirations; and so far as honor is concerned, there is scarcely any difference.We wish the firm of Meyer dt Hymel a-bundent success.
