Ovester Armstrong Sr.Ovester Armstrong Sr., 53, a 10-year resident of Country Club Hills, formerly of Harvey, died, Monday, Nov. 22, at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital and Medical Center.Services were Nov. 29 at Burton Funeral Home, Chicago. Interment was in Washington Memorial Gardens, Homewood.Mr. Armstrong was born Sept. 11, 1940, in Greenville, Miss.- , He was a re-* »' tired teacher,having served the Chicago Board of Education for 31 years, including 28 years at John D. Shoop School. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Chicago State University.He is survived by his wife, Priscilla (nee Bibbs); three daughters, Razietta S. Bishop of Griffith, Ind., Clasonda V. Armstrong-Grandison of Chicago and Vivia E. Armstrong of Country Club Hills; a son, Ovester Jr. of Country Club Hills; his father, Ernest of Philadelphia, Pa.; and two granddaughters.
