MR AND MRS WILUAM D KEENANLuAnn Warren, daughter of Mr and Mrs Arthur J Warren of Bayard and William Dennis Keenan, son of Mr and Mrs Joe Keenan, Sr, of Ogden, were united inmarriage Saturday, November 23,at 8 p.m. The double ring ceremonywas performed in the Church of Christ in Bayard with LeRoyGuernsey, minister of the church,. officiating. The altar was decorated with two pedestal arrangements of white carnations and white mum daisies* White satin bows marked the pews.Lula Games was pianist andaccompanied Mrs Ted Garwood as she sang '‘The Lord’s Prayer” as the couple knelt at the altar, and later, “One Hand, One Heart.” The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father.The bride’s white dress of imported organza and Chantillylace was sfvled with an errmirebodice and long sleeve which fell*over the hands. The bodice held an A line skirt that fell to floor length. From the back neckline flowed a*mantle train of lace and organza. Her forward headpiece of lace and organza leaves, trimmed with ocean pearls, held a shoulder length veil of imported illusion. She carried a bridal bouquet of white carnations and mum daisies centered with a green orchid and tufts of green net and green velvet ribbon,Mrs Gary Walker of Des Moines was matron of honor for her sister. She wore a floor length gown of dark green velvet. She carried a bodquet of white carnations. MrsTom Vaux was personal attendantfor the bride.Brian Oeffner of Ogden was best man for the groom. Gary Walker of Des Moines and Chester Vaughan,brother-in-law and brother of the bride, and Jim Keenan of Des Moines and Joe Keenan, Jr, of Ogden, brothers of the groom, were ushers.For her daughter’s wedding Mrs Warren wore a floor length double knit mint green gown. The motherof the groom wore a floor length black floral knit gown. Each wore a corsage of white carnations accented with mint green tufts of mint.A reception was ‘ held in theAmerican Legion Hall with Mrs Tom Vaux and her daughter, Deidra, as hostesses.The serving table was covered with a green cloth overlaid with green net. It was centered with a three tiered wedding cake topped with miniature bride and groom dolls. The cake was served by Mrs Bill Wisecup of Rippey and Betty Stone. Mrs Carl Rinek of Omaha served the punch and Mrs Kenneth Wolf of Scranton served coffee. They are all aunts of the bride.In charge of the reception were Mrs Fred Watson, Mrs La Verne Gustoff and Mrs Ray Mays.The bride is a 1974 graduate of Bayard high school and isemployed at the Bayard Cafe.* , ,Mr Keenan is a 1971 graduate of the Ogden high school and is employed at the Garst Company inCoon Rapids.
