Miss Jean Ann Massie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Massie, Walker Lake road, became the bride of Richard Virling Metzger, Son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Metz ger, Ashland, Dec. 1, in the Grace Gospel church. Rev. Bernard Schneider officiated at the 2:30 p. m. ceremony. The bride wore a gown styled with a bodice and sleeves of em broidered marquisette and a full net skirt over satin. Her fingertip length veil was attached to a juliet cap of braided silk. The bridal bouquet was white rose, ‘buds and carnations. , Miss Mary Lou Massie served as maid of honor wearing blue Marquisette and carrying deep irose carnations. The Misses Bon nie Jean Metzger and Marjorie Guthrie were bridesmaids with gowns of pink net. Their bouquets were pink and white carnations with similar flowers in their hair. Ushers were Richard Messner and Jack Dickson of Ashland, while best man was Robert Metz ger. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents with two guests present, after which the couple left on a trip to Fort Wayne, Ind. After their return, Dec. 9, they will reside on East Ninth street, Ashland. The former Miss Massie is a graduate of Fredericktown high school and was employed at the Ohio Brass company. Mr. Metz ger attended Ashland high school and is employed at the Eagle Rub ber company, Ashland. ‘OLIVET BIBLE CLUB. Mrs. C. I. Steffey, Sherman ave nue, entertained members of the Oliver Bible club last night for the Christmas party. Following a short business meeting conducted by Mrs. B. C. Donley the mem bers had a gift exchange and heard Christmas readings and poems. Mrs. Richard Bowden was admitted as a new member. Jan 8 the meeting wil be with Mrs. Karl H. Wolford, Stewart avenue.
