'Phis residence stood until recent years.About 1890 the name was changed to Grand Prairie. Many people were passing and this was such a '.beautiful, broad prairie, tliyy celled it the Grand Prniric. The school was too small to accomodate the needs of the public and a new school was built and has boon improved to modern standards.Our town has grown until we now have modern homes, schools, churches, stores and manufactures. It has a good location on the ip ter urban lino and is surrounded by favorable land for farming. Any family would be proud to have their children attend tho Grand Prairie High School.Grand Prairie has a bright future—boost Grand Prairie.
