Sservice flag with 111 stars 8 golden and 5 silver was unfurled and the names of the 111 boys in the service, represented by the stars were read by Monaignor Bouska. While this flag was being unfurled, the choir sang, “America”. Next Old Glory was unfurled and the choir sang “Star Spangled Banner”. A fine patriotic sermon was then delivered by Msgr. Bouska. The stars on the service flag represent all of the boys from Tabor and vicinity, among whom Jos. Obr, Chas. He is survived by his father, two brothers, Thos- and Albert, and three sisters: Mrs. John Novotny, Mrs. Steve Duffek Mrs. Matt Merkvan and Miss Helen, to whom we express our sympathy. Iu their grief they have the consolation that he died iu the services of his country.Joseph Kotalik returned from Camp Dodge Monday. Chas. Ste panek returned from Camp Dodge Tuesday, both uuder the demobilization act. The latter informed us that the boys are sent home at the rate of 500 a day.Monsignor Bouska will leave for Chicago next Monday for a conference relative to his mission to Bohemia for the equitable and just adjustment of the question of church aDd state separation. Under the Austrian government, the Catholic church was the state church in the whole empire, but since Bohemia, which has been a vassal province of Austria, has its liberty and is a republic patterned after our own, religious freedom will be given to all and that means separation of church state, since it has been proved that all beliefs prosper better if conducted upon their merit and are not forced upon any one. The other priest who will be sent there on like mission is Kev. Jos Zlamal of Cleveland. However, Monsignor Bouska and Kev. Zlamal will not sail for Bohe uiia until after January 1st, and they will remain there at least six months as advisors to the clergy, relative to the conduct of their pa risbes under the new arrangement, based upon the experiences of this country. In order that Bo hernia might prosper as it should the estates of such foreign noble men, who received their titles to them in the t7th century by Ferdinand II after robbing the Bohemian noblemen of them and expelling them from tne country, wifi be confiscated and will be parcelled out and sold to the toilers instead of the parasites. Estates that were bought, or do not come under that classification will lie bought from the noblemen and dis posed of as the others. The same will be done with church property that exceeds reasonable limiti The new Czechoslovak republic has abolished all titles of nobility and has granted full freedom, l exaotly as we enjoy here. -
