It came as a pi surprise to me. especially aftrr hnv-ing been to France before I got it It is nearly two years since 1 got wounded, so you will see well they keep track of iml 'I haven’t seen ar.y Govan boys for a Ion* time, but am looking forward to the day when we will be going back to Canada. It seems to be the gen-eral opinion here that it will finish up •con, and 1 think Germany will see ' that it is useless to carry on any longer. Anyway if they do chose to fight on, she must give in at the last, because we are out to win, and win right. How is the Mflu*Mn in Canada? It has been pretty bad over here but the worst seema to he over.1 am in a Forestry Corp here, and have nothing much to complain about It juat looks like a bit of Canada here hauling logs, and the saw mill going.Hoping we shall soon be back and hare thepleasure of hearing your party. with beat wishes.Yours respectfully,Pte.
