ceipts $2!U,UUU annuallyLong Jim, a well known Indian who resides on the Columbia river near Chelan, has paid W. B. Morse, of Chelan, SI872.74 for the recovery of esghty acres of land which Mr. Morse bought some years ago from R. VV. Stan, of Pateros. The payment of the money by the Indian brought to a close several years of litigation over the possession of the Long Jim allottment. In case of Long Jim's failure to redeem Mr. Morse had the privelege of securing full title by the payment of $2500. The land was cleared and fenced and has about twenty-five acres of orchard just coming into bearing.
