FarmcfH Interested In Drainage Canal-Trial Come* op Tomorrow.Tomorrow the ca*e in the mutter of the Yorkville and. Raymond drainage district will come up for trial in the circuit court. The litigation is an interesting one- for the reason that farmers ; have taken sdes in the question. The canal is expected to be from six to seven miles long, and estimated cost from $15,000 to $25,000. One faction believes that it will prove a big benefit to the farms adjoining, draining and redeeming many acres of iand, besides improving the health conditions.The other side believes that it will prove of no special benefit and a burden upon, them. It will he a suit'to decide whether commissioners shall ^ be named. Expert engineers are at work today figuring 'on the 'costs of the Approvement. Engineer Povrrie 'of Waukesha' and Eu-giWbr Knight of this county are amongthem.
