C. j Young, Esq., at Ringwood, on Tuesday morning, j conducted by his first Iowa pastor Rev. G. W.! Brindell, and his first associate Davenport, pastor. Rev, Dr. TruesdelL, now of Chicago, = assisted by Revs. P. S. Slocum and J. M. Ferris. The second son of our townsman, educated at Cazenovla Seminary and Cornell College, where he took the honors of his class in ISfit. In Iowa he filled the following important charges: Davenport, Maquoketa, Marion. Iowa City. Duquque, Cedar Rapids, Cedar Falls and DesMoines. Called east he served First Church at Akron, Ohio, Grace Church, .Philadelphia and NewBrittain, Conn. 'Writing his old pastor he said ‘In any event he assured my house is set In order.’ He leaves a wife and two sons. A. F. Young, of Akron, O.. and J. C. Young. Jr., of N. Y., besides innumerable friends in all his parishes to mourn his loss. His age was 57 years. The resting place of his mortal remains is Springdale cemetery.
