(XXIPER Bradenton C*II Writer Hundreds of doses of Type I Sabin Oral Vaccine were administered Monday to residents of Manatee County who, for one reason or another, did not turn out for the mass feeding Sunday.A team of nurses from the Manatee County Health Depart-mem headed by Dr. Earl Saunders made the rounds of the Manatee Memorial Hospital, local rest homes and nursing homes and the city jail administering the vaccine which is intended to wipe out polio. They will take the serum to the county jail today.Total number of doses given Monday were not available last night. More than 30 Manatee Countyresidents also took the oral vaccine at the health department during the day.Many persons confined to bed in private homes also received the serum by calling the health department requesting the vaccine be brought to their homes. Dr. Frederick Allen, in charge of the county health department, said this may be done all through the week. The department will be feeding the serum during the hours of 8:90 a.m. and 4 p.m. to those unable to participate in the second mass immunisation this Sunday. JDr. Angus Graham, head of the county-wide program, said there will be only two exceptions in the list of feeding stations this Sunday from the ones used Dec. 3.According to Dr. Graham.
