$125 Taken In Package Store Robbery HereTwo men armed with a pistol robbed the Handy Liquor Store on east Highway 80 of $125 about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.It was the second armed robbery in the city in two days. Tuesday night a man and a woman held up a service station at 500 West Third and escaped with $40.The gunmen last night left the liquor store on foot after robbing Charles Diese who was in charge of the establishment at the time.Diese told Sheriff Jess Slaughter that both men appeared to be about 35 years of age. Roth were in need of shaves and wore overcoats. One of the coats was dark colored, the other light.Two suspects were brought to Big Spring last night by Deputy Sheriff Miller Harris and Police Capt. Milton Kirby. They were being held in city jail today.Slaughter said two other suspeets also were arrested, but apparently had no connection with the crime.Two persons were arrested and released Wednesday as officers investigated the service station robbery.
