Oldfield told me he would give me 15/ a week to feed the pigs and do other jobs. I said ••Alright. I may have told him I got the dole and the endowment, and had a vegetable garden from whieh I got n few shillings. I have hecu describing myself as a slaughterman sinee 1 have been slaughtering for Oldfield—12 weeks prior to 21st Heptember. I told several people I was slaughtering for Oldfield. I had to (ill in papers in whieh 1 had to state my occupation. I described myself as a labourer. I got the dole until after 21st September.
