Kershaw, S.C. RF, D. 5, Dec 2.—Rev. W258. Gardner preached a sermon Sunday afternoon at Mid way to the Order of the Daughters of America as a Thanksgiving cele bration. The addeds sex in the school just Thursday by the demonstration agents of Lancaster and Cherokee counties were enjoyed by all. These gentlemen are great factors, and are bringing about great results. Mrs. John Snipes, an aged lady, had the misfortune while visiting her daughter, Mrs. T. L. Horton, of Longsville, to fall and break one bone of her wrist, Mr. W. A. Johnson, of this sec tion, while at work at Camp Jack son, fell and pierced a nail through his hand, which is giving him much pain. Mr. and Mrs. Less Little, of Mon roe, N.C., have been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. John son. Mrs. W. R. Catoe and children vis ited at the home of Mr. and Mex John Snipes Sunday. Mr. Ernest Hinson spent a while with Mesars, Mack and Tillman Deas hist week. Messrs. J. ©. Catoe.
