Robert Tournley, who lives on 30th street, and works four or five miles west of the city, was in the police court Wednesday, charged with hav ing no license for two dogs. He admit ted away one canine and said the animal accompanied him to work at nights to scare away wolves. He was under the impression that he did not require a license. Chief Berry said the man had three dogs hanging around his premises and had boasted that he did not have to pay a license. The magistrate fined Tournley $2 and costs and told him if he found his story about the non-ownership of the other dogs to be untrue a heavy pen alty would be inflicted.
