MARRIED THIRTY YEARSHenry Poland and Wife Surprised By Children on Anniversary.Last Tuesday, Dec. 1. being the thirtieth anniversary of the marriage of Henry and Mrs. Poland, their children and their families planned to make a surprise on them to remind them of the event. According to previous arrangements they all drove in to their parents home at the same hour and more than surprised their father but the mother had an inkling of what was tocome and was not much surprised. They each brought a1 well filled basket and at the noon | hour a dinner tit for a king was spread. The children are a) 1 married and have families. They are: Mrs. Sophia Taylor of NewRoss, Mrs. Elva Buechler, south of North Salem; Wilbert, living south of town; Fred, of New Brunswick, and Mrs. Pearlie Airhart, living northwest of town, Mr. Poland’s brother John, and wife of near Pitts boro were also present.
