The It«* publicans no doubt, were thoroughly prepared aud organized to secure in this diet riot; most of the colored votet hie, of course, gave them a majority. The parish returns made up last evening, gare the following majorities : Beattie, Governor. 477; Kiard, Senate, 339 j C. Young. Repmsontulive, -154*.; T. Foutelieu, District Judge, 9Ik; Merchant, District Attorney, 1073.The vote is about solid for the Constitution, but the vote against the debt oidiuuucc was heavy.With regard to the I matonal vote, St. Martin bus uot yet been heard from, and them is still, therefore, a possibility of Mr. Perry being choseu, as the major* ity in bis favor in Lafayettu parish was 2C).
