BRIGHT LIGHT SEEN IN SKYAbout 7.45 last night, a vivid flaring object, probably a meteor, but unusual, as it did not faU towards the earth, was seen in the sky.It was first seen east by south, as a pure white flare, travelling from lett to right in an almost flat trajectory. After a short distance it disintegrated like a festival rocket, but continued on its fight until it disappeared“This was no ‘flyingsaucer,’ but if it was a meteor, its angle of flight was most peculiar,” said one observer.
