Sewell, who is a car washer, will be strained on the charge this eek. While Dominick Piccone, 16-year old white boy was remanded by Judge Donald H. Adams in Pontiac Monday, to jail under a $10,000 bond to await trial on a charge of felonius assault, his victim, Mrs. Joana A. Johnson, Highland Park recretion teacher, was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. in her home, 306 LaBelle avenue. Mrs. Johnson, prominent in De troit and Highland Park cultural circles, was kidnapped by Piccone Friday afternoon. He ordered her to drive her car to Oxford, Mich. where he forced her from the car and struck her with a pistol. Mrs. Johnson said she crawled and ran through the snow before reaching Oxford. Fired Shot At Her The teacher, between nervous gestures, said that the kidnapper had fired a shot at her as she lay on the ground. She laid in the woods from 9 p. m. Friday until 3:30 a. m. Saturday. She walked to Oxford where she notified police. Piccone, who was released from the Lansing Industrial school two months ago, had been in a class taught by Mrs. Johnson. She was treated at Pontiac Gen eral hospital for head injuries. She was released Sunday, and has been treated by her physician since. Piccone, who was released from the Lansing Industrial school two months ago was arrested a short distance from the stolen car. Mrs. Johnson, a member of the cast of “Aida,” presented by the Detroit Negro Opera company a short time ago, is the widow of one of the early pastors of the Com munity church. Her husband died about two years ago. She came to Detroit from Chicago,
