Uncle John llollifields, a brother of Squire J. A. Hollifield and Mrs. Wiji. Bryson, of this county, was brought back from near Commerce, where he died, and buried here in Mount Hope # cemetery, late last Friday, afternoon. The deceased was horn in Lumpkin eighty-live or six years ago and had been a resident of the county all his life until a few years ago. lie had only been over where he lived a day or two when lie took a smothering in his breart, which had been occasionally giving him trouble for some time, and passed away.
