Keasey was al-moat a Ilfa ion* resident of LaGrange county, residing west of LaGrange for many yeata and for several years he lived in LaGrange, removing from here to dtotgis 16 years pgo. In 1872 he was united in marriage with Miss Lida O’ Rourke of Fort Wayne, His father, Rev. filwird Keasey, wsl one of the pioneer residents of this county, living for a long fame in the vicinity of the Bethel church in Clay township. Mr. Keasey ii la survived by his wife and two sons, Hunter and Carlisle, of Sturgis. The funeral was held Monday at 9 o’clock a. m. in the Catholic church at Sturgis.HERN^Charles Hern died Saturday evening at o’clock at his home in LaGrange after two tteeks’ illness of pneumonia and heart trouble. Mr. Hern was bom at Belvidere, Neb., November 7, 1888, and WAS a son of Willis Hem, who now resides at Glacier Point, Alaska. At the agt Of three years he came to La* Grange county and this had been his home evrff since. He had done some traveling About occasionally, making a trip to Alaska several years ago. He was married March 3, 1908, to Miss Laura Holcomb. For about two years peat hy had been employed in Smith Brothers* hardware. He was buried in Sturgis beside his mother, who died seven years ago.HOLLOPETER Mrs. Oscar Hollopeter died Monday at her home at South Milford, after a lingering illness, of congestion of the brain and complications. He age was 67 years. Sljewas born in LaGrange and ijih}Ih* daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elman and resided here until she gxawup* Forty-three years ago fhawasunited in marriage with Mr. Hollopeter. They located in South Milford 41 years ago and have resided there ever since. She had been a member of the Methodist church since her childhood. Besides her husband, one son, Fred, of Howe, survives her. Besides, there are two grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Ella Wert of South Milford and Mrs. Lizzie Bush of Ken* dallville.
