Buell was born in Wayne county, New York, Septebmer 24, 1838, and died at his home in Zion City on Sunday morning, November 28, 1915, at 9:30 o’clock.Deceased has lived in a number of states, having moved from New York to Ohio with his parents when a lad, and later on, becoming of age, took up a homestead in Kansas. From that state he moved to Iowa, and was counted one of the early settlers in his county. In 1902 he moved with his family to Zion City and has resided here since.Besides the wife, there survive seven children to mourn his death, two other children having preceded him in death.Funeral services were held at the home on Wednesday afternoon, at 2:00 p. m. The body was shipped to Bradford, Iowa, for bruial. Among those attending the funeral from out of the city were two sons, Jesse I. Buell of Galesburg, Illinois, and Elmer Buell of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Two daughters living in the state of Oregon were unable to attend.Mr*.
