Lupton, wli was very particular in his mannor of cultivation and manuring.For the second best crop of corn, no one contended with capt. Baylis ; but the committee all doubted whether a premium could be awarded where the appli-chut furnished no account of his method of cultivation, and they desire the society to decide that question.For the premium for two acres, no one competed wirh Amoi Lupton, whose.two acres produced 21 I bushels.
