Christmas seal and bond, campaign has reached almost two fifths of its goal. Mrs. Betty Cooprider, Christmas seal chairman said Wednesday, but the final dollars are the hardest io achieve. The total now stands for $9,692.93; the goal is $25,000. Township chairmen who have made recent reports and the;, total received from each town ship ace: Mrs. James Kuyken dail, Sugar Creek, $410; Mrs. Paul Gummere, Honey Creek, $507.25; Mrs. R. Brad Lawson, Linton, $45; Mrs. Joseph Bisch, Lost Creek, $474.50; Mrs. Wayne Livengood, Nevins, $76.50; Mrs. Herbert Lamb, Otter Creek, $443.75, Mrs. Bessie Richey, Pierson, SrI; Mrs. Herbert Clark, Prairie Creek, $95.50, and Mrs. Ernest Froderman, Riley, $208.50. Robert M. Boyer, chairman of the Christmas seal ‘bonds, asks persons receiving bonds in the mail to respond to this appeal. He pointed out that funds are needed to continue the program of X-ray surveys, tuberculin tests for children, educational programs, services to patients and research.
