Pvt. Wayne D. Otto, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer A. Otto, R. 4, Thiepsville, is receiving ad vanced training in ordnance at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., under the Reserve Forces Act program. Otto received basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He is a 1957 graduate of Cedarburg High School, Pie. Keight I. Heuver, son of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Elmer H. Heuver, Rt. 1, Gostburg, is a member of the 1st Cavalary Division in Korea. ‘The division, previously in Japan, has absorbed all units of tthe 24th Infantry Division in Korea, since the latter’s recent demotivation. Heuver, formerly a member fof the 24th, is a driver in 1st Battalion Headquarters Com pany of the 1st Cavalry Divi sion's 21st Infantry. The 20-year-old soldier en tered the Army in September, 1956, and received basic com bat training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He arrived overseas in May of this year. He is a 1955 graduate of Ce idar Grove High School. Graduated Nov. 1 from the Advanced Combat Information Center at the Fleet Training Center, Newport, R. I.,—.was Charles Q. Troxel, seaman, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Troxel, 1338 Main Ave., while on temporary duty from the ra dar picket destroyer USS New man K. Perry. Pvt. William A. Dzwonkowski, ‘son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Dzwonkowski of Kohler, and ‘Pvt. Louis W. Prath, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louie L. Prath, 902 N. 27th St., completed four weeks of individual combat training Nov. 15 at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Calif. The course included the latest infantry tactics, first aid, demo litions, field fortifications and advanced schooling on weapons. Trainees learn that all Ma rines are basically infantrymen, whether they serve as cooks, typists, truck drivers, or with aviation units.
