Gripsholm, which was duo to arrive in New York this week. Miss Lumpkin is a native of Georgia, was roared in Dallas and has spent the last 28 years in Japan where she taught in a girl's school. Her brother hue not heard from her in over a year.At the beginning of the war the school where she taught was confiscated by the Japanese government, according to the reports received by Mr. Lumpkin, and Miss Lumpkin was promised that she would not be molested.
