Pinesburg, Nov. 30. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Charlton and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Garrett and family spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hyde and dau ghter Dorothy, Philadelphia. Mr. Charles Higgins butchered three fine porkers, the total weight being 1515 pounds. Those assist ing were: Charles Detrow, George Shank, Earl Shank, Emory Staley, Joseph Kreps, Mrs. George Shank, Mrs. Mary Fowler and daughter Dolores and Velma Shank, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sweigert and children, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Sweigert and family, Arlie Swei gert, all of Hagerstown, and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Fowler and daugh ter spent Thanksgiving Day with Mr. and Mrs. George Sweigert and Mr. and Mrs. Obern Carbaugh and son. Recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reid and family were: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Reid and children, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Clopper and children, Mrs. Clopper, Clearspring, Mrs. Hubert Fowler and daughter.
