G. M, Ehlers and Superintendent Paxton went over early in the day 'and Dr. Ehlers conductedI ■a health examination of -the pupils /from .2:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon.In the evening with Mrs. Timothy i presiding, the following program | was rendered: Reading by Mrs.Orson Barney; vocal solo by Grant ; Nelson; piano solo by Mrs. Snyder;I vocal solo by Mrs. Geo. Reay. Superintendent Paxton made a talk stressing the'importance of an education-• .al department head as member of■.presidents-cabinet along tlio line of a bill that lias recently been proposed for this-purpose,. At the business meeting 11 was^ ■proposed to cover the shed :n . :it for the protection of'horses used for bringing;children, to; Thiswill cost about one- hundred, dollars’ and lumber . was pledged for this purpose.'
