Dawson.Dr. Ji ih ?i Robert Dawson. youngest son of Mrs. Rebecca and the lute I T. Dan son was born on n farm t miles Southeast of Monroe, in Ralls Co., Mrreh 5, 1882. His early lifewas spent on (he farmland his knowledge of farm life and stock added much to his success as a Veterinarian In later lifeHe attended High School inMonroe City and graduated as Veterinary, surgeon and dentist from The Western Veterinary College in K insas Coy March 190:1On January 1, 1903 he was married to Nelle Bnsiow, niece of the late Maj, R B. Bristow of Monroe City To this union were born four children, Virginia Elizabeth, who died at the age of* seven, Eleanor Eliza who died at the age of two nod one half years. John Robert ami Margaret Ellen who survive.He died Nov. 30, 1915 after a brief illness caused from an over dose of headache tablets. Heleaves to mourn his loss a wife, two children, a mother, two sisters andtwo brothers.“Dae” Dawson as he was known far and near had an almost unriv aled practice extending over a wide scope of farm land well stocked and few Veterinarians in the state had abetter knowledge of their work or a wider reputation as a ‘Vet” who understood his business. Probably no man of the community will be more widely missed and his place harder to fill Being a loving and indulgent husband and father hit family are prostrated over hh sudden and untimely end.He united with the Methodist Church at the age of about 18 years and the funeral will be conducted from that church Dec 2 at 10 o’clock, by Rev Hoy assisted by Rev. Gott ***
