Small Farms.The Louisians Land and Immigration Company, one of our most progressive corporations, has just purchased the Weis property consisting of 800 acre* of Red River land about one and a half miles from the city, which it w:ll cut up into farms.i'his company has made several such purchases recently and we are glad to note that what the Caucasian has so long championed, that is, the culling up of our larger plantations into small farms, is actually being done and being done by Louisiana people.
