uic uaiuco i-/uynn^ iiuuic.J. M. Deeds of the Deeds Scenic Studio of Spokane, has been given the contract for the complete stage fittings of the new opera house, and expects to start the work soon. Local artizans will do the carpenter work, and Mr. Deeds' best artist will come up to do the curtain painting. It is the plan to give the Colville opera house an up-to-date stage. The work will take three or four weeks. All the materials are to be purchased from local merchants. Mr. Deeds is the one who has the contract to put on the new drop curtain at the Spokane Auditorium next month.
