Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Burton were at the city last week. George Cooper is in a critical condition at this writing. Walter Kron has moved in the Cooper property on South Main street. Mrs. Isaac Hilderbrand after long suffering died last Friday morning. Miss Flossie Kessinger, who has employment in Louisville, is visit ing home folks. Mrs. Ed. Bedford, of New Al bany, is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Kessinger. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rupp were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Johnson last Sunday. John Cooper has bought the Hilderbrand property near the mill and has moved therein. The Ladies Aid Society of the Presbyterian Church served Thanksgiving dinner and supper. Mrs. Rebecca Lefler, wife of Pete Lefler died at her home three miles south of this place ‘Thurs day. William Bowling died at his home near here of stomach trou ble, and was buried Friday Morn ing. Mrs. Pamelia Reagan and Mrs. Uphema Bud, of Louisville, were the guest's of Mrs. Dr. Winder’s last week. Catherine, daughter of James and Ella Black, died at their home near here Saturday morning, of typhoid fever. She had not been sick but five days. J. A. WINpeERs.
