I am looking for any 99’ers who were in 1st Platoon, Company A, 393 on Dec. 16, 1944. Please write to John Capson, 519 Emerson Ave., Farrell PA 16121.As Capt. Jameson is still alive, I believe he directed the troops on Dec. 16, 1944, in the woods east of Krinkelt. Fve been in contact with Harry Brusell and Dr. Mel Richmond of the 1st Platoon.My brother was S/Sgt. Rocco Cataldo of 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, Company A, 393, who was KIA on Dec. 16, 1944.I found Wayne Peck and Don Placido, who were removed from the squad prior to the battle.John R.
