In addition, KVKM-Tel-evision will be carried intoHobbs and Lovlngton, NM„ Alpine and Marfa on community cables.The televis on station manager will be Hillman Taylor, a veteran of television who was formerly with WFAA-TV in Dallas and who came here some two months ago.Ititl1IrIitilt;irlThe radio station manager will be Ken Welch, who has been with KVKM for two years.KVKM-Television will feature ABC network programs and films. The films will be ofboth half hour, hour and feature-length variety. Several film packs have been purchased and Taylor sa d only the best films would be used from each package.KVKM's programing will include something of interest for every age group from children through teen-agers to adults. Some of the programs will be aimed at a particular age group and some will be aimed at all groups, but a variety of programs is promised.The station, to begin with, will come on the a r at 4:30 pnv. on weekdays, at 5 p.m. on Saturdays and at 5:30 p.m. on j Sundays.On Monday through Fridays the first hour will be featuring children's programs.Adult entertainment will include the hour-long mystery dramatic show, “77 Sunset Strip,” which will rival anything on the channel for solidenjoyment.CtPn\b!II1teseWestern fans can find more gun play on ABC stations than any other.
