Mrs. Tom Leyendecker and son, Milton, and Miss Jimmie Matthews of San Antonio were the weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Max Grona. Mrs. Ruby Sullivan of Goldth waite is spending this month as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Over street. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mosty and daughters spent Thanksgiving Day with Mrs. Mosty’s mother, Mrs. W. M. Burney, in Center Point. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lemons and son of Austin were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Eldridge on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Lemons also attended the Tivy-Austin game. Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Black, Jr. returned to their home in Pampa, after spending the Thanksgiving holidays with the former's parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Black. Dr. L. M. Rogers of Lexington, Ky. and his daughter, Peggy, were the guests of Mrs. J. L. Ad kins earlier in the week. Dr. Rog ers is a brother of Mrs. Adkins, a Mr. and Mrs. Louis Huneke of Lubbock left on Saturday to spend a few weeks in Austin. They were the guests of Miss Mildred Baker for the past two weeks. Misses Paulyne and Allyne Hol brook, who have been attending school in Ardmore, Okla., will re turn home on Saturday to spend the month of December with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Hol brook. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Williams and children, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mobley, all of San Antonio, Mr. and Mrs. Champ Callihan and Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Williams of Wesla co, and Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Tom linson and children of San Antonio were the guests of Miss Elaine Williams and Mrs. W. A. Simmons during the Thanksgiving holidays. L. T. Davis, Jr. returned to Dal las on Sunday after spending the Thanksgiving holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Davis. L. T. is a student at SMU. He was accompanied to Kerrville by T. M. Willson,Jr., who is attending North Texas State Teachers College at Denton, and who spent the holi days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Willson. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Baggett had as their guests during the Thanks giving holidays the latter's broth ers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. ,H. R. Andrews and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Andrews and little son, Jerry, all of Olney, Mrs. Baggett’s sister, Mrs. Harry Key of Albany, Mr. and Mrs. Babe Badgley and Mr. Clin ton Horton of Goose Creek, and Miss Beatrice Badgley of Houston. Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Williams are visiting at their ranch in Victoria. E. M. Forman was a business vis itor in San Antonio Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Dent Taylor left Friday for a business trip to Port Arthur. —_6— George Miller and Jack Stevens spent the weekend on a duck hunting trip at Medina Lake. Mrs. Hilda Roessing of New Braunfels was the weekend guest of Miss Helen Dietert. Mrs. W. W. Miller, Wallace Mill er, and Martha Moore spent Fri day in San Antonio. Louis Nelson and Grady Caldwell of Aransas Pass have returned home after spending the holidays with friends and relatives. Mrs. Garland Farmer of Hender son spent the weekend here with her son, Garland, Jr., who is spend ing the winter in Kerrville. Mr. and Mrs. Olin Eddy and Mr. and Mrs. Silas Voorhies of San Antonio were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Richerson on Thanks giving. —==_ Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Ramsey and Mrs. Mildred Clements motored to San Antonio Sunday afternoon to see Cecil Smith play polo and spend the evening with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Felix Fisher are re ceiving congratulations upon the arrival of a little daughter Wed nesday last, at Kerrville General Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Q. Marshall of Rocksprings and Mr. and Mrs. Ray mond Dietert of the Divide were among those attending the Tioy- Austin football game Friday night. Robert Sieker, Henry Hauser, Charles Henke and Chester Hei mann have returned to A. and M. College after spending the holi days with their families. Among the students returning to the University of Texas after spending the holidays with their parents were Misses Cornelia Faw cett, Lucille Plumb, Helen Cone, Hulda Real, Margaret Fisher, Mary Jane Garrett, Emilie Henke and George Miller, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Radeleff have returned to College Station where the former is a student at Texas A. and M. College. They spent the Thanksgiving holidays as guests of their parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. L. Bullard, and Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Radeleff. Mrs. Rose Rogers of Refugio left on Thursday to visit a daughter in Houston after spending several days as a guest of her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Adkins. Mrs. Adkins had as her guest during the Thanks giving holidays her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Zach ry of Hobbs, N. M. Miss Courtney Sieker, who is at tending school in San Antonio, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with her parners, Mr. and Mrs. Gay Sieker. Mr. and Mrs. Sieker also had as their guest, Roy Nichols of Rockwall, a student at Texas AM College, who is their son, Robert, to Kerrville for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. McDonald left yesterday for Corpus Christi where they will make their home. Miss Lou Milton, Witt Milton, and Wallace Caston of Denton were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bush over Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Foster Jones of Spur spent the Thanksgiving holi days as guest of the latter’s par ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Spence, and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Merrill. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Smith of Lampasas spent the Thanksgiving holidays as guests of their son-in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Luna. Misses Sophie and Betty Fugler had as their guests for Thanksgiv ing Miss Helen Marie Winston of Lufkin and Joe Carter Denham, Jr. of Austin. Judge McCollum Burnett of San Antonio attended the Tiny-Austin game here Friday evening and also visited his sisters, Misses Reba and Lynn Burnett. Johnny Langerhans of Austin spent Saturday visiting friends in Kerrville. Mr. Langerhans is a former Schreiner Institute student and is now attending the University of Texas.
