St. Dennis Church in Lockport was decorated with baskets of yellow and white gladioli and down the church aisle were coachlights and yellow bows for the ag of Brenda Meurer and Steven L. Davis. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis of Cen tralia and the bride is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Mearer of Lockport Father Ted Berst officiated the 3 o'clock wedding on August 17. Pam McCarthy sang ‘‘Wedding Song’ before the ceremony and “Together Forever’ as the couple knelt after lighting the unity candle Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white satin peau de soie, with Venise lace trim and chapel-length train. Her short chapel-length veil was attached to a Venise lace and pearl trim cap. The bride carried a bouquet of white gladioli, encircled by camilla leaves serving as matron of honor was Bonnie Moyer, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were her friends, Holly Burcenski, Pam Ford, Jane Foster and Mary McCormick They were attired in floor length dresses of yellow sheer organza with scoop necklines and tiered ruffled short sleeves. Each girl carried long stemmed yellow rosebuds and baby’s breath The bride's sister, Melissa Meurer, was flower girl, and ringbearer was Adam McColley son of Becky McColley of Centralia Best man was Mike Ludwig of Centralia and groomsmen were Gary Waggoner, Dennis Boehne, Jack Mays and Bert Lewis. Ushers and junior ushers were Gene Hardekopf, Fred Storey, and Mark Meurer, brother of the bride Mothers of the bride and groom wore formal length knit dresses and had corsages of yel low rosebuds and baby's breath. A wedding reception was held at the VFW in Lockport with a dinner and dance following. The bride’s table was decorated with yellow gladioli and centered with a three-tiered wedding cake. Patti Hill registered the guests. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis, was held at the Blue Willow Restaur ant in Lockport in the Red Room. A honeymoon trip was taken to Virginia Beach, Va., and the couple now reside at Lincoln shire Apartments in Charleston Mrs. Steven L. Davis
