Five Persons Die On Oklahoma RoadsBy THE ASSOCIATED PRESSThe state’s Labor Day weekend traffic toll stood at five late Saturday.The Highway Patrol also reported the death of a man in an accident which occurred before the holiday fatality counting period started at 6 p.m. Friday.Two of the holiday deaths occurred as resuit of a two-car crash in Norman Friday night.The deaths raised the state’s traffic count for the year to 512, compared with 462 at this time a year ago.Nineteen-year-old Patricia A. Shaw of Norman died at a hospital Saturday from injuries received Friday night when her car was struck by another vehicle at a Norman intersection. The driver of the second vehicle, 18-year-old Fred Bales of Norman, died Friday night.
