ALBERT BAILEYFuneral services were con- 1 ducted Aug. 8 for Albert Bailey, 85, life-time Fayette resident, who died Sunday, Aug. 6 at Palmer Memorial Hospital, West Union. Rev. James Dale and Rev. Clayton Elsberry officiated at the service from Belles-Wright Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ed Campbell, Harold Dugan, Robert Nefzger, Joy Whitford, James Miller and Howard Johnson.Bailey was born July 4, 1887, at Fayette, the son of Joseph Nathon and Nancy Ricketts Bailey On Dec. 4,1923, he was united in marriage to Eva Viola Voshell, To this union three children were born.He served in the U. S. Army', receiving an honorable discharge on Nov. 30, 1918, because of medical reasons. He was employed many years by the City of Fayette. Bailey was a 50-year member of the American Legion and a member of Disabled American Veterans chapter of Oelwein.He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers, John and George, three sisters, Harriett, Amy and Minnie.He is survived by his wife,Eva, three children; Arthur, of Huntington Beach, CA; Mrs.Doyle (Shirley) Nefzger, West Union; Mrs. Loren (Dorothy) Frommelt, Elkader, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and other Relatives. *
