SPRING Spring is a time of having fun, Or cooking hamburgers on a bun. Though you may not want to shout, The sun will always just come out When the flowers start to bloom, You know that it is almost noon When come the showers, They bring pretty flowers ‘The school bell rings, near the end of spring You get out of school, And soon jump in a pool Get ready for Easter, And for the big feast Girls and boys run out to play, On the very nicest days The birds come back They start to sing, Which is the nicest thing they bring, invasion their breasts, They build some nests You can see buds, You water flowers then there’s mud The leaves on the trees also Start growing, When very little wind is blow ing. The Red Baron had kidnapped Santa Claus and Snoopy wanted to find him or there would be no Christmas for any of the children. While Snoopy was looking for Santa, he could see a red spot in the sky far away. Snoopy caught up with the Red Baron and Santa, and chased them for a long time. Snoopy had a plan. He whis pered it to Santa when he had the chance. When the Red Baron turned around he saw a fat jolly man with sunglasses. The Red Baron didn't recog nize Santa with the glasses so he let Santa go. Everyone was happy that Snoopy saved Santa, and that there would be another Christ mas, Cindy Jagimin, 9'e Hiehland School Chicago Heights VISIT FROM OUTER SPACE One day I went out in outer space, I went in a space rocket and I wore a space suit and a space helmet, I landed on the moon. Then IT let out some stairs. When got off the rocket, I heard a noise and turned around to see two lite men standing there. They need trees for shade, for the crops. Since it is rocky in Israel, the kids bring money to religious school to give to Israel to build the trees with the children’s name on it. They bring the money on a holiday called “TUBUSHVAT” which means ‘“‘the new year of the trees!’ It comes once a year so, Happy New Year, Trees! We were able to get free pop and ice-cream. There were races and bingo games and lots of other games such as egg throwing and shoe kicking, etc. When we got there I had some pop and ice-cream. Then we had the races. After the races I went down to a stream. When I got there I saw a raft, I wanted to see if it would sink. When I got on, it did not sink, I started to float on it, I wanted to get off it. When I tried to get off I fell in the water. I was a complete mess and it didn’t make my mother happy.
