Agner Is New Naiarene PastorRev. Robert Agner has accepted the pastorate of the Church of the Nazarene in But-1 ler, and will be arriving in town• the week of September 10th.; His first Sunday will be September 16th.1 Mr. Agner is the former pas-r tor of the Grace Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina, having* served there for two years. f Prior to this, he pastored the 3 church in Hazelwood, North i Carolina for a period of twoand ahalf years.Last year, Mr. Agner taught social studies in the seventh and eighth grades of the Rock Hill public schools. In addition,k he was in charge of the physi-m cal education and sports in the ■ elementary school in which hef taught.He was graduated from Tre-vecca Nazarene College in 1 Nashville, Tenn. in 1955, and iss a member of the Phi Deltad Lambda, which is a scholastic“ honor society of the colleges51 of the Church of the Nazarene.e Additional work has been taken^ at George Peabody College forTeachers in Nashville, and at ** Western Carolina College,Cullowhee, North Carolina.Mr. Agner is a native ofs» Florida, and Mrs. Agner is anative of Kentucky. They have two children: Katrina, who is 2d 5 years old, and Karen, who3“ is almost 2 years old.
