The Borron families held their first reunion at Love Lake 8un-dav, August 26th. The arrangements were decided on quickly and with only four days notice it was impossible to aet word to those living at a distance However the adja-ient counties, Linu, dacoa, Adair, Knox and bheiby were well represented. There were 72 present. The oldest one of the family living is Arthur Borron of near Nickellton. He is 03 years old and his granddaughter, Donna Faye cMich ael, Qf ■ 3 months is the youngest. Boi-h were present.The history of the Borron family in Missouri dates back to 1835 when Dr. Arthur Born n and wife came from England and sett od at Boonville. Later they mov 'd to Bloomington at d finally located on a farm near what was then called Vilanna. Here they reared their five boys, Arthur, Archabald, James,, Charles and Paul to manhood, and in the aame house tli°y hath pas-.ed away Dr. borron died la 18D1 and the live sons to i have gone to the Great Beyond, but are survived by a lari*1 number of children and grand children. On account, of th« shortage of the notice it wa-on!y part of the descendants ot the late Arthur and Arclmbald that were present.At noon the dinner was spread «*n two of the large atuinls that have been erected at that place and then Kev J.
