Obituary-Died at£her borne *in Jubilee Township, Peoria county 111. Aug. 22,1893 Mrs. Ellen Carrol, wife of the late Thomas Carrol. Her maiden name was Ellen McManus. She was born in Ireland, Maty 12, 1820: Shea ted to this country in 1838, ling in Peoria until her'marriage,s,when she moved to Millbrook, and finally to the]place where she resided at the time of death. Nine children, three boys and six girls, survive her to mourn her loss, all of whom are •grown and well to do. She labored hard to.help make a home for them and rear and bring them up in. the Catholic faith. On Saturday afternoon she, in company with her daughters, Lizzie and. EUen, Jaud nieces of ^Bradford, spent ajpleasant afternoon at Mr. Huntsinger’s and she appeared livelier that usual. But on Sunday morning Bhe was taken suddenly ill with winter cholera and died at eleven forty-five Tuesday morning. The funeral services^ were held at St. * Joseph’s church, Brimfield, Thursday Aug. ^4. from which the remains was followed by a long funeral procession of friends and relatives, to its final resting place in Calvary cemetery.Card ok Thanks.We wish to extend our thanks to those who so kindly assisted us during our mothers sickness and death.Family.ftsndXoncert Saturday night.
