It is supposed and he was shot on Thursday, by his dist pistol dropping from the born of and bis saddle and thus accidentally dis-charged. Mr. Keeney was about lt;0 1years of age, and came to Oregon in anj1846. He lived in Linn county a meinumber of years, and is well known over a great portion of our State and Idaho Territory.
