The rally and $5-a-plate din ner will be held in the May flower Room of the Terre Haute House beginning at 6:30 p.m. with Judge Harold J. Bitzegaio of Vigo Superior Court acting, as master of ceremonies. Tribute to Workers. In addition to kicking off the municipal government cam paign, the event will pay spe cial tribute to all Democrat pre cinct committeemen and com mitteewomen of the county. In case of an overflow crowd, arrangements have been made to set up closed circuit tele vision equipment in other din ing areas of the hotel to per mit all interested persons to witness every facet of the speeches and program. In addition to Mayor Tucker, Democrat candidates who will also get their campaigns “down to serious business” as of Tues day evening, are: Judge Edward S. Everett, City Court judge; John Therweiier, city clerk; and the following candidates for City Council posts; John J. Hines Sr., first district; James Jacob, second; Mrs. Katherine M. Myrtle, third; William H. Jarvis, fourth; George D. Kintz, fifth; Leonard P. Kirchner, sixth; and Myron J. Busby, William B. Butts and John F. Walsh, all seeking at large posts. A press conference has been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the clubroom of the Wabash Val ley Press Club located in the Terre Haute House. Tickets for the dinner may be purchased from any Sixth Dis trict county chairman and from members of the ticket commit tee. L. V. (Dutch) Letzkus, Sixth District Chairman, is directing the ticket committee. Other members include: Dick Kelly, Mike Ellis, Vern Gibson, John Haley, Miller Carbon, Joe Zwerner, Joe Gabbert, David I.
