Goad and Miss Ella Thomas were in Fort Worth Thursday of last week. Mrs. Laura Thomas has return ed to her home in McKinney after several weeks’ visit with relatives here and in Fort Worth. Mrs. Bob Foster and children of Fort Worth were guests last week of her mother, Mrs. D. E. Allen. Mr. Foster was a week-end guest. Mrs. Dalton Berry was in Dallas several days last week visiting her mother, Mrs. G. H. Morton, who is recovering from a major operation at the Baylor Hospital. J.H. Wright was in Dallas Tues day, Mrs. Mattie Buckner of Denton is Visiting Mrs. M. V. Higgins. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Simmons and Jim Simmons of Lancaster visited Mr. and Mrs E. T. Simmons Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Simmons were guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Withrow of Denton Thursday and Thursday night of last week, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Thompson and daughter and grandson of Denton visited Mr. and Mrs. Dar win Whiteside and Hugh Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dearing of Dallas, Elaworth Gentry of Cop pell and Rex Whiteside attended the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. J. L. Ratliff in Eldorado Sunday af ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Gentry, Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Corbin and George of Coppell, E. S. Harrison of Fort Worth and Mrs. L. B. Whiteside spent the week end in San Angelo and Eldorado at the bedside of their sister and aunt, Mrs. J. L. Ratliff, who died Saturday. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Tate Wednesday of last week were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Allen of Irving, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Murphy and daughter, Pat, of Chicago, UL, Mr. and Mrs. Clar ence May and sons ,of Wichita, Kane, and Granddad Neal of Cop pell, Floyd Harwell and son of Coppell, called in the afternoon. Out of town relatives who at tended the funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Andrews here Wed nesday of last week included Mr. and Mrs. James Robertson, Mr. and Mrs. L. Lawrence, Mrs. Mary Hardesty, Mrs. W. W. Andrews, Lee Andrews and son, Bill, Mrs. Letty Pendergrass, Bill Thomas, all of Fort Worth; Mrs. W. M. An drews, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan An drews, Mrs. Fay McDonald and son, Vance, all of Roanoke; Mrs. Anna Burgoon of Denton; Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Millican and son, Charles, of Dallas.
