V1JUUI J ^ ViuJ .Mrs. Johanna Scupham enjoyed a visit from her brother, Dr. Ed. Scupham, born and raised in Homewood, now a practicing physician in Blue Island, and recently returned from an extensive tour of Europe. He visited especially the Scandanavian countries and stopped off at Hanover, Germany, to visit the old Doepp Homestead there. He brought with him some pears and apples and Mrs. Scupham is j the proud owner of two pears and an apple picked from trees planted more than a hundred years ago by their great grandfather.
